Toritos De Pucara
- These “little bulls from Pucara” are an ancient symbol of luck, protection, prosperity and fertility in Peru. From a village near Lake Titicaca, the bulls were originally used in Andean rituals and offerings. Now they are mainly used as ornaments placed in pairs on roofs to protect the home and its inhabitants. Why not employ one to protect you and your loved ones? They are hand made of clay in a primitive, archetypal shape, then painted and glazed with traditional designs in earthy colours. Vintage finds from our cabinet of curiosities. Unique pieces.
